A Family Business For Three Generations

Carl and Hugo Bessette took the reigns of Bessette Automobiles Inc. in 1990, following in the footsteps of their father Paul, and of their grandfather Réginald, founder of the company.

The new management team took on a new challenge in September 2003: Carl and Hugo acquired the former site of Shefford Plymouth Chrysler Inc. and founded a new dealership, Granby Chrysler Inc.. The full range of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep products were offered there under one roof.

Expansion continued with the acquisition in September 2007 of Automobiles Centre-Ville Inc.. This transaction allowed the business to strengthen its presence in the Granby region and to offer a larger, more varied selection of products to shoppers of used vehicles.
