The New 2021 RAM 1500 TRX

Extreme might be the best adjective to describe the new RAM 1500 TRX, but not just for its supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI V8 engine with 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. This infernal powertrain gives you blistering accelerations, and its 8-speed automatic transmission is remarkably efficient. What is more, the 2021 RAM 1500 TRX can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 4.5 seconds and reach the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds. Not bad for such a big truck, isn't it?

Another thing that sets it apart from the rest of the lineup is its exceptional off-road capability. It has undergone several modifications to make it more agile in rough terrain. It's wider and taller, and its approach angles have also been reworked. Among other things, it receives Bilstein Black Hawk e2 performance shocks, and you will even be able to launch into a stream, as long as it is no deeper than 32 inches.

A RAM truck that can do it all

Other capabilities include a towing capacity of up to 8,100 lb (3,674 kg) and a payload capacity of up to 1,310 lb (594 kg). And to help you climb steep grades and obstacle-laden trails, the TRX features a new BorgWarner 48-13 transfer case with a low range of 2.64:1. In addition to the usual 5 driving modes, there are also 3 off-road driving modes, Mud/Sand, Rock and Baja.
